Despite the controversy, Kim has never apologized to Taylor for her involvement in the phone call. Even after the recent TIME article, there has been no public apology from Kim. Interestingly, sources reveal that Taylor would be open to accepting an apology from Kim, but only if it is done publicly. According to Taylor, a public apology is necessary to address the public shaming she endured.
