Sprouts Farmers Market Inc, a food specialty retailer, has announced that it is now available on Uber Technologies Inc’s food delivery platform, Uber Eats. This partnership will initially launch in Florida and will gradually expand to all Sprouts locations by the end of the year.

With this collaboration, more than 15,000 products from Sprouts will be available for delivery through the Uber Eats app. This includes a wide range of organic groceries, local farm-fresh produce, and various specialty items such as keto-friendly, gluten-free, vegan, and plant-based products. Customers will have the option to choose on-demand delivery or schedule a delivery for a later date or time.

Nick Konat, President and Chief Operating Officer of Sprouts, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “By partnering with Uber, more people will be able to access our uniquely healthy assortment and the season’s freshest, most delicious produce.”

Uber Eats is a popular on-demand food delivery app and website that collaborates with over 900,000 restaurants and merchants across more than 11,000 cities worldwide. This platform allows customers to conveniently order food from their favorite restaurants and have it delivered straight to their doorstep.

The availability of Sprouts products on Uber Eats provides customers with even more options for healthy and organic food delivery. It caters to the growing demand for convenient and wholesome meal options, especially among health-conscious individuals.

Sprouts will roll out delivery through Uber Eats in phases, starting with the more than 40 locations currently available in Florida. This gradual expansion will ensure a smooth and efficient integration of the service across all Sprouts markets.

As for the financial aspect, SFM shares closed slightly lower at $46.02 on Friday. However, this partnership with Uber Eats has the potential to increase Sprouts’ visibility and accessibility, which could positively impact its stock performance in the long run.
